Arc GLOW’s vocational programs are designed to help adults with disabilities achieve their career goals for a happier, more fulfilled life. We work with individuals to identify their goals and align them with the programs that will help them toward a brighter future.

Our Comprehensive Services

  • Vocational Skills Training: We offer tailored training programs to enhance essential vocational skills, including communication, job readiness, and workplace behavior.

Prevocational Services

Pre-Vocational programs are person centered services that are designed to assist approved individuals who are looking for support in discovering employment interests, assessing job readiness and creating a support program that has gainful employment as the ultimate goal.  Pre-Vocational services are available to adults over the age of 18 enrolled in the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Home and Community Based Waiver Services throughout the GLOW region.

Hilltop

Hilltop is a site-based program located in Mt. Morris where individuals participate in a variety of work readiness groups, and when available paid piece rate packaging work.

Community Connections

Community Connections is a community-based program for individuals who are interested in learning work skills in their local community by participating in both volunteer and unpaid interest experiences, along with discovery, work readiness curriculum. Community Connections is based out of Leicester.

Orleans Enterprises

Orleans Enterprises is a community-based program located in Albion where individuals participate in a variety of work readiness groups, and when available paid piece rate packaging work.

Batavia Community Pre-Voc

Batavia Pre-Voc is a community-based program for individuals who are interested in learning work skills in their local community by participating in both volunteer and unpaid interest experiences, along with discovery, work readiness curriculum.

Path

Path is a community based intensive program for individuals who want to participate in a more focused discovery, curriculum and intensive internships based on their interests and work readiness. Participants are chosen based on their readiness and interest in competitive employment. This program is based out of Leicester.

LIVES Program

L.I.V.E.S. (Learning, Independence, Vocational, and Educational Skills) is a community-based partnership with SUNY Geneseo. This four-year program encourages students to participate in a non-matriculated program on the SUNY Geneseo campus, located in Geneseo. Students are engaged in campus activities, auditing classes, functional academic curriculum, and participating in unpaid internship experiences. Prospective students are required to undergo an application process for approval prior to admittance.
