Martin Miskell, Chief Executive Officer

Martin Miskell, Arc GLOW’s chief executive officer, has over 20 years’ experience in disability services. He started at the Arc of Livingston-Wyoming in 2002 as director of finance. In 2007, he became the associate executive director/chief financial officer and eight years later moved into the role of executive director. 

Martin oversees Arc GLOW, one of the largest geographic Arcs in New York state, that was formed after the October 2021 merger of Arc of Genesee Orleans and Arc of Livingston-Wyoming. Arc GLOW covers 2,500 square miles over a four-county region, serves up to 2,000 individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities their families, and has over 1,000 employees. Arc GLOW has become the agency of choice and the employer of choice in the GLOW region. 

Martin is a lifelong resident of Geneseo, where he resides with his wife, Theresa. Together, they have four adult children. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from SUNY Geneseo and his MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Martin is also currently serving on the SUNY Geneseo Foundation Board and The NYS Parks Genesee Region Commission.
